It was a big surprise that there was a baby shower after a meeting today. Got a lot of cute and pretty baby stuff!

maternity skirt

... my boss gave me a maternity skirt this morning ... she said her mom-in-laws gave it to her, but she knows she is not gonna fit in for sure ... hmm .... interesting :p

sunday service

It is a good reminder for me from the Sunday service's sermon yesterday by Rev. Wong. Rev. Wong is currently an overseas missionary from Holland.

I think I really need to keep these in mind:
- life is too tough sometimes that we can't solve the problems by ourself
- use the potential/gifts from God to serve Him
- devotion time

coffee

how come coffee doesn't seem to work anymore on me? just finished a cup of coffee, but still very very tired ... i think Jacob is growing rapidly and bigger that i can't find a good position to sleep.

the worse part however is not from the physical, but emotionally ...
the unpredicted future, the responsibilities, relationship, etc.
oh well, need to get back to work ...

It is Friday

feeling stressful at work in these days ... i spent a couple of weeks to work on a task, but ended up i screwed up the things ... :(

still have many things need to be finished before going on the leave. since almost half yr ago my boss knew i will be on leave for a year, she started to pass the stuff that i was working to other colleagues. However, i need to provide the information to my colleagues, finished the existing tasks a bit earlier than the schedule, working on something that no one wants to do, but takes time to do, etc ... sigh ... well ... good that it's only around a month to go!

having a written exam for a job competition next week, i'm looking forward to pursue this opportunity even i know how slightly the chance is ...

i was worried about the baby earlier, but the ultrasound yesterday saying he is doing fine and just a very little bit "over size". i know i should have more faith!

i had a weird dream last nite ... i was on the way to work by bus, but i was late and missed the bus. i decided to call a cab. the cab driver was going to a wrong route and had a car accident on a weird designed bridge. i was then sent to a hospital, when i woke up i lost all my valuable belongings like cash, credit cards, pda, phone, ipod nano ... the driver was disappeared after the accident and ... he was actually a colleague sitting besides my cubicle a long time ago. (only talked to him a couple times and never worked with him before ... )

hehe ....

Norfolk Pine

Just bought a new houseplant yesterday from Ikea. It is called Norfolk Pine. It can be grown both indoor or outdoor.

I saw a similar kind of plant last time in a gardening store(http://www.ottawaplus.ca/portal/profile.do?profileID=50510) on bank street, but it is quite expensive. I'm happy to get it in a reasonable price.

I think it does look like a little living Christmas Tree in the winter! But of course I don't want to decorate it, I like the natural beauty of the plant. :)
